We thank you and your organization for your interest in Volunteer Grundy portal.

VolunteerGrundy.com is designed to streamline the process of volunteer recruitment by allowing Grundy County, Illinois local emergency management agencies, other local governmental agencies, non-governmental organizations, faith-based organizations, public, private, or not-for-profit organizations to communicate their current opportunities using a common platform. Volunteers can conveniently search multiple organizations and volunteer opportunities to find an experience that matches their skills, interests, and availability. To complete your organization profile and start promoting volunteer opportunities, follow these steps:

Step 1:  Prior to completing the registration form, please check if your organization is already registered on VolunteerGrundy.com by searching through our list of organizations. If you find an existing profile for your organization and need to change the Organization Manager, email us at monks5@comcast.net.

Step 2:  Review the following policies:

VolunteerGrundy.com does not screen or perform background checks on the individuals who register for volunteer assignments. Each organization is responsible for any screening, interviews and/or background checks per their policies and procedures. By completing the registration for your agency, you are acknowledging this statement, and waiving any liability on the part of VolunteerGrundy.com.

VolunteerGrundy.com requires all organizations utilizing this site to operate without discrimination against potential volunteers or in the operation of its program on the basis of race, color, national origin, sex, age, political affiliation, religion, or on the basis of disability if the volunteer is a qualified individual with a disability.

I will represent my organization by providing true and accurate information and I will notify VolunteerGrundy.com upon changes to my contact information or if my position is no longer responsible for posting volunteer needs or events.

I will keep my account username and password secure and not allow anyone else access to my user account. Comply with the VolunteerGrundy.com privacy policy related to the gathering and sharing of personally identifiable data. User information will be stored confidentially by the organization and is not to be shared with any third party.

I will not request donations or sponsorships for my organization/school. I understand that VolunteerGrundy.com cannot be used for fundraising.

I will not post volunteer opportunities for organized political activity and my organization is not a political or partisan organization. 

Site managers of VolunteerGrundy.com reserve the right to edit or remove any of your posted content.

By clicking on the sign-up page link below, you understand and agree to abide by the policies listed above. 

Step 3:  Complete the registration form on the sign-up page. This will create an account for your organization in the VolunteerGrundy.com system. Please note: The individual who completes this registration form will be the person assigned to update and manage the organization profile. 

Step 4: Log in to the account you created in Step 3 and complete your Organization Profile with contact information, information on programs and services, logo, photos, and volunteer opportunities.
